What is a Soffit?

The soffit is a hard-wearing board attached to the underside of the roofline assembly, & it's job is keeps the underside of the rafters secure and dry whilst looking attractive and stylish. Originally made of wood in most cases, as the soffit deteriorates, it can allow water to get into the rafter ends, causing serious damage to your roof.

L B Roofing completely removes your old, rotting soffits, and replaces them with high quality uPVC boards available in a variety of colours.

What does a fascia do?

The fascia boards on your home provides a support for the bottom edge of the rooftiles, as well as keeping out birds and vermin. It's more visible than the soffit and so has more cosmetic importance.

Traditional wood fascias will eventually rot away and fail, however well maintained, and your home will lose it's protection and start to look unsightly.

Our uPVC fascia boards provide a low maintenance, high quality alternative to this, and our method is to remove all existing material as opposed "overcladding" - a practice of covering the rotten fascias with uPVC - something which will necessitate further remedial work later on Benefits:
